Elden Ring Reportedly Sold More or Less 10 Million Copies on PC Alone

These estimates could possibly be true or even more.

According new reports, popular video game Elden Ring has now gained quite the following on PC if true.

The new report comes from data released by SteamSpy (via DSO Gaming), which based it from keeping track of the number of players who own the game on Steam. They revealed it may have already sold over 10 million copies on Steam in just a week. This number could still rise because SteamSpy only tracks public profiles and does not count private ones.

To note, SteamSpy’s data is not official and only based it from public profiles. FromSoftware nor Bandai Namco Entertainment have not released the official number of sales yet. Still, this could easily be the numbers for the sales on PC in just a few weeks since the game launched. It could be even more than 10 million units.

As for the reason for getting more than 10 million sales on PC easily in just its first week, Elden Ring was a highly anticipated game. Across all platforms, players quickly pre-ordered before launch, and more players bought it on day one after reviews from critics and others came in. So, more than 10 million sales on PC alone can be achievable for this game.

No word yet on Bandai Namco Entertainment or FromSoftware with the official tally of sales.

Elden Ring is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
