A new report from an Italian media outlet recently shared information related to the supposed-to-be release of upcoming video game Elden Ring.
According to Head Journalist Federico Fosetti of Everyeye.it, the launch of the most anticipated video game related to the Souls games was supposed to have finished development months ago. If not of the global pandemic COVID-19, it would have been released a couple months ago.
Due to the global crisis, the developers are now stuck in the polishing phase. This has now been shifted to another time. The poster who shared this information on ResetEra also does not know what the situation in the Japanese development studios is currently.
Still, take this with a grain of salt for now since there is no official confirmation from game developer FromSoftware.
Elden Ring will launch sometime in 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
