Fallout TV Show in the Works with Amazon Studios and Creators of Westworld

Fallout 76

Just recently, the official social media account of Amazon Studios posted a teaser clip about something related to the Fallout series and it most likely hinted a TV series is coming.

According to publication Deadline, the creators behind Westworld like Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy of Kilter Films will be heading up the show. Bethesda executives Todd Howard and James Altman will be coming along as well.

Amazon Studio COO and Co-Head of Television Albert Cheng stated:

Fallout is an iconic global franchise, with legions of fans worldwide and a rich, deeply compelling storyline that powers it. And Jonah and Lisa are the perfect storytellers to bring this series to life. We’re thrilled to join with Bethesda to bring Fallout to television.

“We’re enormous fans of their work,” Todd Howard said of Nolan and Joy, “and couldn’t be more excited to work with them and Amazon Studios.”

Joy and Nolan stated

Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time. Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we’re incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.

No other details have been uncovered yet, but this is a good opportunity to introduce the world of Fallout to other people through this format. Stay tuned for more details later.
