Ubisoft, the publisher of franchises Assassin’s Creed and Ghost Recon, just announced what players get post-launch in their upcoming Far Cry 5. It seems that the publisher is gearing up for launch and have confidently revealed all of its post-content downloadable content from its Season Pass and also free content as well following its worldwide launch on March 27.

Season Pass buyers or those who pre-ordered the Gold Edition will get their hands on the Hours of Darkness DLC, Dead Living Zombies DLC, and Lost on Mars DLC.

    • Hours of Darkness: Players will travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng soldiers and save their fellow soldiers
    • Dead Living Zombies: Players will team up with friends to fight waves of zombies across seven different scenarios cooked up by a b-movie director
    • Lost on Mars: Players will leave Earth behind to go toe-to-claws with martian arachnids to save Earth from an alien invasion[/alert]

Furthermore, console versions of the Season Pass for Far Cry 5 will also include Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. However, the PC version of the Classic Edition of Far Cry 3 is going to be made available for purchase a later date after the launch of Far Cry 5.

According to the press release, players will also have access to the highly improved map editor, Far Cry Arcade. This map editor includes all assets from the previous Far Cry entries and as well as other Ubisoft titles like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and Watch_Dogs, that can be used to make solo, co-op and PvP multiplayer experiences.

Last but not the least, the Live Events. Here, players will be rewarded with new customization items that includes vehicles and weapon skins after completing challenges across the fictional Far Cry 5 Hope County, Montana.

Set in America, a first for the franchise, Far Cry 5 offers players total freedom to navigate a serene-looking yet deeply twisted world as the new junior deputy of fictional Hope County, Montana. Players will find that their arrival accelerates a years-long silent coup by a fanatical doomsday cult, the Project at Eden’s Gate, igniting a violent takeover of the county. Under siege and cut off from the rest of the world, players will join forces with residents of Hope County and form the Resistance.[/alert]

Far Cry 5 launches on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this March 27.
