A recent rumor claims that one of the free games that will be offered for PlayStation Plus March 2021 is a very recent and popular remake.
According to a Twitter post by leaker Shpeshal_Ed, one of the free games offered for PS Plus is none other than the super hit remake Final Fantasy VII Remake. The leaker suggested that PlayStation fans should subscribe to PS Plus before March in order to take advantage of this big game being offered for free.
Some fans are hopeful that this is true because it would be a great addition to their gaming library, while others think this is too suspicious. For one, the leaker comes from Xbox Era, a forum for Xbox leaks and other information. That alone makes fans doubt his supposed “true” information. On the other hand, it is true that Sony Interactive Entertainment offered Control on PS Plus just recently, so this is possible.
Others think this is possible because the exclusivity of FFV Remake is nearing its end and would possibly be announced to launch within this year for Xbox consoles and PC. Which is why SIE is trying to squeeze every bit of its popularity by adding it as a free game for PS Plus.
Take this with a grain of salt for now.
