Square Enix and Embody announce that the Final Fantasy XIV Immerse Gamepack free trial has been extended.
It has been revealed that the free trial for the Final Fantasy XIV Immerse Gamepack free trial got extended to more days than the original, almost twice the original. The free trial used to last 14 days only but now it got extended to 30 days. Players who have already used the trial will be able to activate it once more to play the game.
Embody’s Immerse Gamepack is an upgrade to the sound system of the popular online MMORPG with 3D Spatial audio. It was developed with the help of the FFXIV sound team and aims to make the game’s SFX and environmental sounds clearer. It offers full headset compatibility and supports sample rates up to 384 kHz.
According to the announcement, this is just one of the multiple updates that will be coming to the game later. It was revealed that Part 1 of Patch 6.5 will be released in October 2023 and Part 2 will be detailed by the dev team later at TGS 2023.
Final Fantasy XIV is out now on PC, PS4, and PS5. The Xbox Series X/S version will be released next year.
