Remedy Entertainment has officially revealed the very first Alan Wake 2 gameplay trailer that focuses more on Saga Anderson.
Alan Wake 2 Gameplay Trailer Features Saga in the Woods
Creative Director Sam Lake recently appeared at Summer Game Fest and spoke with host Geoff Keighley to talk about the upcoming sequel Alan Wake 2. He described it as the first survival horror game to the audience and then showcased the new gameplay trailer which featured the new protagonist Saga Anderson, exploring the dark woods.
Anderson hears a noise from afar and decides to explore further only to find an abandoned shack. She enters it to discover a frightened deer who darts through and destroys some ruined walls. Relaxed to know that the danger is gone, Anderson decides to move forward only to be surprised by a weird individual wearing a deer mask and trying to harm her. She shoots the deer person with a gun and after a lot of shots, it dies.
Anderson decides to explore further the shack to find a freezer at the end where she discovers a “tattooed” heart. She mumbles that it seemed she knew the heart was there and she knew where to go as if somebody was commanding her body to do it.
The trailer ends there.
Alan Wake 2 launches on October 17, 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. It will be digital only.
