A new leak claims that Fortnite is going to get a new special crossover content based on a popular franchise.
Fortnite has always been known for its crossover content in every season with big events based on Dragon Ball, DC, Star Wars, and more. One of the more recent crossovers Epic Games has introduced was Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse introducing skins for Spider-Man Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099. While other games have tried to copy the formula Fortnite has, they have not been successful in doing so as Fortnite has become quite popular already.
It does follow a pattern for its collaboration. The crossover event should at least be an upcoming new movie, game, or TV series that attempts to ride the wave of popularity to give rise on its own. In this upcoming new season, it is still following the same formula, this time with an upcoming live-action movie famous for its transforming robots.
According to a new leaked image from Reddit, it seems Transformers is coming to Fortnite. This would be the first time that the franchise will be joining the popular battle royale game and everyone is already speculating how they will figure in the game.
Based on the leaked image of a loading screen, Chapter 4 Season 3 includes a Transformers collaboration skin with one of the famous characters in the franchise. No, it is not Bumblebee. It is the fearless leader of the Autobots: Optimus Prime. His look in the image shows that he will be based on the upcoming new film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts which will be showing soon. There is no word that other Transformer characters will be joining but it will be interesting if others will show up too.
According to Fortnite leaker Hypex’s leak, there was other content too. It revealed that there will be a new tropical biome, based on the leaked screenshot. The leaker also says that it could include a desert and volcanic area with rideable raptors with a stamina meter, and some Meowscles and Mechanic skins.
There is also a racing mode with speed objects, cosmetics, a car garage, sky/ground race tracks, and the default car is a new supercar. The Grind Rails featured in previous seasons will now be re-skinned into wood vines. The Armored Cars will have Hostile “Goons” NPC in them.
Lastly, there will be a new Mythic Drum Shotgun, and the return of the Level Action and Infantry Rifle.
The upcoming will definitely focus on the Transformers crossover since it is the upcoming new film collaboration, but it would make less sense if Optimus Prime will be the only one present. It could be possible that other characters will be joining like Bumblebee, the Maximals leader Optimus Primal, or the Predacon leader, Megatron. It’s usually two different skins at least so either of these three characters will be included.
Epic Games has not shared any statement confirming this new leak.
Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Android, and Nintendo Switch.
