Epic Games has announced that Fortnite will be getting two new Street Fighter characters into the roster: Sakura and Blanka.
Fortnite Adds Blanka and Sakura
Two Street Fighter characters, Blanka and Sakura, are coming to Fortnite Island to celebrate 35 years of Street Fighter. Players will be able to grab their Outfits and accessories in the Item Shop later this week starting Thursday April 28, 2022 at 8 PM ET. Also win the Blanka and Sakura Cup for a chance to win a special Loading Screen.
Blanka
Blanka comes with the Blanka Outfit, Blanka Delgado alt Style, and a built-in Blanka Backflip Emote. There is also the Blanka-Chan Back Bling and the Tropical Hazard Kebab Pickaxe.
Sakura
Players can get the Sakura Outfit, Sakura Gym alt Style, and the built-in Sakura’s Victory Sway Emote. She also has the Hazakaze Claw Back Bling, the Fighting Tournament Trophy Pickaxe, and the Kayari Buta Glider.
Blanka and Sakura Cup Two Versions
There will be two versions of the Blanka and Sakura Cup. The first one will be the mobile-only Zero Build Solo Cup that will start on April 27, 2022. The second is the all-platforms Battle Royale Solo Cup happening on April 28, 2022. Top performing players on both versions can unlock the Bonus Stage Loading Screen.
The Mobile Only Blanka and Sakura Cup will be available only on Android starting April 27, 2022. Players can join ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window.

Have the 2FA enabled and verified on the Epic account in order to join. They also need to be at account level 50 or above.
The All-Platform Blanka and Sakura Cup will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android platforms starting April 28, 2022. Just like the first version, players can join up to ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window.
