Epic Games has recently released Fortnite v25.30 update unleashing the “Break the Curse!” event.
Fortnite v25.30 “Break the Curse!” Event Starts Today
The Jujutsu Kaisen event starts today until August 25, 2023 at 2 AM ET. Players will have the goal of destroying Cursed Llamas in order to learn cursed techniques. They can also get cosmetic and level up rewards with the free reward track including the Shadow Play: Toad Emote.
Purchase the Premium Reward Track upgrade for an extra layer of rewards which includes the Yuji Itadori Outfit. They can get the Streetwear Yuji Itadori Outfit after purchasing the upgrade. Compete in the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup on August 11, 2023 for a chance to get the special Spray and Emoticons based on the anime franchise.
Aside from Yuji, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki are here too with their cool teacher Satoru Gojo. They will be available in the Item Shop starting now.
Destroy the Cursed Llamas for Cured Techniques!
By destroying the Cursed Llamas that are roaming on the island, players will be able to learn two cursed techniques: Straw Doll Technique and Hollow Technique: Purple. Straw Doll Technique is a hammer combo that launches nails filled with cursed energy. Hollow Technique: Purple is a cursed technique that is a secret combination of cursed techniques that can erase buildings in its path and deals damage over time to enemies.
Complete Break the Curse! Quests to earn Cursed Energy that in turn lets players unlock more in-game rewards. Navigate to the Break the Curse! Tab in the Lobby to keep track of the Cursed Energy and remaining rewards.
Jujutsu Kaisen Reward Track
The free reward track has 11 unlockable rewards including the Shadow Play: Toad Emote as the final reward. The Premium Reward Track upgrade will unlock extra rewards as they unlock rewards in the free reward track without having to complete additional Quests. It is purchasable for 1,000 V-Bucks and contains 11 unlockable rewards. The final reward is the Yuji Itadori Outfit featuring Yuji’s Jujutsu High uniform.
Break the Curse! Quest Grade Levels
Break the Curse! Quests will start at the Grade 4 level of Jujutsu High standards and will progress up to the Special Grade level. Each grade level’s Quests will go live sequentially and be available until August 25, 2023.
- The Grade 4 Quests are live starting now.
- The Grade 3 Quests go live August 10 at 9 AM ET.
- The Grade 2 Quests go live August 15 at 9 AM ET.
- The Grade 1 Quests and Special Grade Quests go live August 17 at 9 AM ET.
Complete a certain number of Quests in a grade to receive the token for that grade. Get five tokens to unlock the Nue Glider.
