HoYoVerse has recently announced the new Genshin Impact Lantern Rite 2023 and its main event this year.
Genshin Impact Lantern Rite 2023 Starting Date
The Lantern Rite Festival is held in Liyue, and gets celebrated in tandem with the real-life Chinese New Year. It will involve various events with so many rewards and by the end of the festival, players get rewarded with four-star characters that will join their roster. This starts on January 18, 2023.
To the Sound of Music!
This time in version 3.4, the Lantern Rite festival will be the main focus. It will involve a musical concert that stars various characters that love music and they come not only from Liyue but also from beyond. A new trailer was also showcased, which can be viewed below.
Free Four-Star Characters!
This year’s Fortuitous Invitation giveaway was also revealed. Players will be able to choose from a lineup of various four-star characters coming from Liyue. This also includes the new character Yaoyao, which is at the end of the lineup.
