HoYoVerse has announced the new Genshin Impact Tighnari English voice actor that will replace the original due to a controversy.
Way back in February 2023, HoYoVerse confirmed that it would replace the English voice actor of Tighnari, Elliot Gindi, after he was involved in a controversy: sexual misconduct. The official website of the game got updated by HoYoVerse this controversy got uncovered. The character’s page now includes clips of the new English voice actor, Zachary Gordon. It also shows Sanae Kobayashi as his Japanese voice actor.
Zachary Gordon, the new English voice actor for Tighnari, is known for his roles as Ravus in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, and Hayner in Kingdom Hearts 3. He is also known for his role as Greg Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Genshin Impact is out now on PC, mobile devices, PS4, and PS5.
