HoYoVerse has recently confirmed the Genshin Impact version 3.0 special program date.
Genshin Impact Version 3.0 Leak Confirmed
After a leak was released yesterday, HoYoVerse confirmed that a new special program will be happening later this month. The announcement was posted on its official Twitter account.
Special Program Date
The tweet revealed that the new Livestream event will premiere on Genshin Impact’s official Twitch channel on August 13, 2022, at 8 AM UTC-4. The leak did say that HoYoVerse was supposed to air the Livestream a day earlier, but with the Ghost Festival in China happening on August 12, 2022, it was not happening.
Primogems and Gifts Await
The post also stated that it will feature “juicy” details about the upcoming version 3.0 update. They also said that they will be dropping some redemption codes and more for fans to get.
The update preview is expected to be one of the largest events of Genshin Impact as it will reveal details about Sumeru, one of the biggest regions of the game that surpasses both Mondstadt and Liyue combined. It will also finally reveal the effects of the Dendro element and the many characters that can wield it.
Promotional Video Released
Aside from the official announcement of version 3.0 special program, a new promotional video of Sumeru was uploaded. It gives fans a small tease of what the new region offers when it lands on the game.
Genshin Impact is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices.
