A new report claims the God of War Ragnarök game length might have been revealed.
God of War Ragnarök Length Revealed?
According to Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, the upcoming and most anticipated sequel God of War Ragnarök will have a game length of around 40 hours. The main story only needs 20 hours to complete the claims say.
First 20 Hours
Sources told the media outlet that 3 and a half hours of the 20 hours played will be cinematic scenes. The rest will be 16 and a half hours for gameplay. That is a lot of hours already enough for story buildup and tons of gameplay to enjoy.
Second 20 Hours
The other 20 hours though will be for additional side quests that players can complete if they want to. 19 hours of that will be the gameplay while an hour for the cinematics.
Varies on Playstyle
According to the report, these numbers are just estimates and the actual numbers for a player will vary because it will depend on how long they will complete the game on their own.
Similarity to the Original
The report also reveals that its length is similar to the original God of War game from 2018. It had around 8 to 9 hours longer though for the side quests.
God of War Ragnarök launches on November 9, 2022, on the PS4 and PS5.
