A new report has claimed that upcoming and most anticipated video game sequel God of War Ragnarok is going to be released later this year.
God of War Ragnarok Still Launching in 2022
Media outlet Bloomberg reported that God of War Ragnarok will be released sometime in November 2022. According to the report, the big announcement will be happening soon, as in within this month, June 2022. No specific date was revealed though.
Delay Reason
Santa Monica Studio previously stated that this game was supposed to have its grand entrance last year, but due to COVID 19 pandemic, it got delayed. News about this most anticipated game sequel just dwindled as the months went by. Some were even excited that it might get featured during the recently concluded State of Play and Summer Game Fest, but no announcement appeared.
Rumors Abound
Several rumors surround the development of this game though. Some sources believed that it was going to be delayed further back to 2023 due to some issues. Jason Schreier and other popular leakers even suggested that it was going to be delayed, but their new sources and from Sony Interactive Entertainment assured that God of War Ragnarok was not going to be delayed.
God of War Ragnarok is slotted to launch this year and will be available on PS4 and PS5.
