The official PlayStation page of the upcoming video game Godfall revealed that it will need persistent internet connection.
The upcoming video game will feature a drop-in/drop-out co-op mode that will be available even on the story-driven campaign. This allows players to quickly partner up with two other players without interruption. Some thought that this was just an option and it can be played on solo without any internet connection. It turns out that is not true since the official PlayStation page confirms it will need it. This will be similar to The Division 2’s requirement.
On the PlayStation 5 side, players will also need to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription in order to enjoy online co-op mode. Still, solo mode will need internet connection.
Godfall is coming to PS5 and PC later on Nov. 12.
