Nvidia has recently announced Half-Life 2 RTX, a Half-Life 2 with RTX enhancement
As part of its Gamescom 2023 announcements, Nvidia has now announced that the next game that will be getting RTX enhancement is Valve’s critically acclaimed first-person shooter, Half-Life 2. Half-Life 2 RTX is currently being developed by its gaming community by using an early access version of the RTX Remix creator toolkit. This will use Nvidia’s tech like hardware-focused ray tracing, RTX IO, Nvidia Reflex, and DLSS3.
This is the latest game that is enhanced by RTX with the use of Nvidia’s RTX Remix toolkit, which was announced by Nvidia last year. The first ever game to get enhanced by RTX was another Valve title, a beloved one at that: Portal. Its 2008 mod Portal Prelude also got its own RTX remix.
Currently, Half-Life 2 RTX does not have a release window.
