Halo Infinite Official Release Date Finally Revealed

Game studio 343 Industries has finally spilled the beans after so long: the official release date of most awaited Xbox game Halo Infinite has been revealed.

In a recent Microsoft Store listing (ah yes, good ol’ slip up) that got deleted recently, Halo Infinite official release date is now December 8, 2021. This also confirms some of the leaks that were flying around recently on Reddit and other boards. Media outlet The Verge has verified this information and game company Microsoft will be making this official later on as part of Gamescom’s Opening Night Live Show.

Halo Infinite was supposed to be the flagship game that would have come together with the launch of the Xbox Series X/S, but after the big reveal last year, 343 Industries had to delay. Unfortunate, but it was a smart move on their part and now they are ready to finally launch it for the world to try out and judge.

When this game will launch by the end of this year, it will not have any campaign co-op features and the popular Forge mode. Fortunately, those features will be added post-launch. According to media outlet Eurogamer, the campaign co-op feature will not be available until season two at the earliest, while the user creation tool Forge will not be available until season three.

Halo Infinite official release date is now December 8, 2021. It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
