The next DLC character to be released soon for Tekken 8 is the return of Heihachi Mishima who was presumed dead at the end of the story mode of the last Tekken game. Months ago, Bandai Namco revealed that Heihachi would return, and to everyone’s surprise, it sparked an outrage throughout the Tekken community. A new trailer shows his full skill set and what to expect when he is released.

Heihachi Mishima is known to be the former leader of the Mishima Zaibatsu, the father of Kazuya, and the grandfather of Jin. In the last Tekken game, he regained control of his company after Jin’s sudden disappearance. He launched an all-out war against Kazuya and the G-corporation. Using all his resources and connections, he successfully revealed to the world that his son is the true enemy of humanity and is considered to be the devil. However, it all went down after confronting his son in a volcanic region. He was presumed dead after Kazuya threw his body off the cliff and no one has seen him since.

Heihachi Mishima will be playable for Tekken 8 on October 3, 2024. Those who bought the season pass will be able to play him by September 30, 2024. Also, new DLC stages will be added including a new story campaign called Unforgotten Echoes where most of the DLC characters that were revealed in the past will get their spotlight in the game.
