Tango Gameworks has recently revealed the new Hi-Fi Rush Arcade Challenge update which will introduce new game modes for the game.

    Hi-Fi Rush Arcade Challenge Update

According to the recent announcement on the Xbox Games Showcase – Extend, the Hi-Fi Rush – Arcade Challenge update will introduce two new game modes. These will be available once the players have finished the story of the game. A new trailer was also showcased during the event revealing the new game modes.

    BPM RUSH Mode

“The new BPM RUSH mode tasks players to battle waves of enemies to music with a steadily increasing BPM or beats per minute,” according to the trailer description.

The BPM RUSH mode requires players to defeat each wave and tackle toughened-up new foes. After winning, the BPM will speed up and it will be up to 200 BPM.

    Power Up! Tower Up! Mode

Power up! Tower Up! Mode lets players take on the Rhythm Tower challenge with a new Twist. It will feature Upgrades and Bugs between rounds. The upgrades will boost Chai’s stats and provide other helpful abilities, but at the cost of a lowered score multiplier. Bugs will boost the score potential and get them closer to the stylish S-Ranks, but at a cost.

    Other Additions

The Arcade Challenge Update will introduce new Special Attacks featuring the mechanical characters CNMN and Smidge, new challenges to earn new Photo Mode stickers, some new t-shirts for Chai and outfits for Korsica, new poses and filters for Photo Mode, and more.

Hi-Fi Rush is out now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
