The episode will be available at no additional cost to owners of Hitman: The Full Experience. For pricing (all in USD), the Intro Pack with the Prologue and Paris levels will cost $15, with each subsequent location priced at $10 as an add-on to the Intro Pack. You can also buy the Full Experience at launch for $60, and it includes “all of this year’s content as it’s released, and guarantees them not to miss any live or bonus content.” If you purchase the Intro Pack and then decide you want the Full Experience, the Upgrade Pack add-on will be $50.
Sapienza is the name of the bright and sunny fictional Italian town where the next Hitman episode is set. As we saw in a previous trailer (below), this beautiful seaside location features all manner of explorable spaces, including a mansion and a medieval church, as well as alleyways and storefronts.
“Sapienza is a dense location full of challenges and packed with opportunities and stories for the enterprising player to unfold,” Square Enix said back in October 2015. “And as with all locations within Hitman, dark secrets and engaging stories are everywhere to be found in charming Sapienza.”
Five further episodes are expected to be released this summer. The next chapter after Sapienza is set in Morocco and is coming in May.
