Warner Bros. Games has recently announced that Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch version is getting delayed.

After several delays, Hogwarts Legacy was planned for release this coming July 25, 2023. It seems another delay will be added to the list as it will now be pushed back further to November 14, 2023.

Hogwarts Legacy launches on Nintendo Switch on 11/14/23. We know fans are looking forward to playing on Switch, therefore creating the best possible experience is our top priority. Thank you for your patience.

“We know fans are looking forward to playing on Switch, therefore creating the best possible experience is our top priority. Thank you for your patience,” said the company on the game’s official Twitter account.

Portkey Games did not reveal the specific issues they faced for them to delay the Switch version, but it seems it is not ready yet. There could be some more problems that need to be fixed since this is a game that will be ported to the Nintendo Switch, which is in the same generation as the PS4 and Xbox One with slightly lower specs.

After various games with bad PC ports appeared recently, it seems the developers are not taking any risks of getting very bad feedback from critics for releasing a bad port. Better safe than sorry.

Hogwarts Legacy is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
