Like many RPG games, Hogwarts Legacy talents rely on a leveling system to convey a sense of progression to the player. Leveling up allows the player to accumulate stat points that they then can invest in Talents.
In this guide, we’ll go through all the Talents in the game and what they offer on your Hogwarts Legacy journey.
How to Unlock Hogwarts Legacy Talents
Unlike many other RPGs, Talents in Hogwarts Legacy are not unlocked at the start of the game. Instead, you’ll need to progress the story in order to unlock the Talents tree.
To unlock it, you’ll need to complete the Jackdaw’s Rest main story mission first. At which point, your connection to Ancient Magic will unlock and then you will receive 1 Talent Point each time you go up a level. This includes all the levels you have earned since level 5.
Can you get every talent in Hogwarts Legacy?
No, you won’t be able to unlock every Talent in Hogwarts Legacy. The most important thing you need to know about the leveling system is that the maximum level you can go up to is Level 40. This is the game’s hard cap and you won’t be able to advance any further than this. This also means that you won’t be able to acquire more Talent points past the level cap. It is highly advisable for you to specialize in a couple of talents that best fit your playstyle and allocate points carefully.
At the very most, you will have 36 Talent Points to spend on your character. This means that out of all Talents in the game, you will lose access to 12 of them.
And finally, also be aware that there is no way to reset your Talents in Hogwarts Legacy currently. So whatever Talents you want to invest in, it better be something you know you really want.
