In Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, you’ll be asked to override the power nodes in one of the first missions of the game, Stars in Their Eyes. While it sounds like a straightforward task, having to defend yourself against enemies coming from every direction while doing so can be a challenge. You’ll also have to look for the power nodes while dealing with the DLC’s newest foes.
Read on, and this guide will teach you how to Override the Power Nodes in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.
How to Override the Power Nodes in Horizon Burning Shores?
To override the power nodes, you need to hold R2 upon finding their location in the “Star in Their Eyes” mission. There are three power nodes in total, and you’ll have to deal with enemies as you look for them.
All three power nodes can be found in the Ascension Hall. As soon as you scan the ship, a cutscene will trigger, and then you’ll have to lift the lockdown by overriding the power nodes. Keep in mind that you’ll have to do this while battling enemies, so keep your guard up.
Each of the power nodes can be found inside rooms with red blinking LED lights above the doors. Here’s where you can find each of the power nodes’ locations:
Override First Power Node
When you first get the objective to lift the lockdown, go to the left door with an LED above that is blinking red. On the edge of that room lies a power node you can override.
Override Second Power Node
Exit the room after the first power node by heading to the door opposite of the entrance. Take the bridge across to the two doors on the other side. Take the open door on the right where there are enemies, and you’ll find the second power node to override.
Override Third Power Node
Go back to the bridge that you used to cross between the first and second power nodes. Look right to the floor below, and you’ll see a room with a blinking red LED light. The third power node is inside.
And with that, you’ve managed to override the power nodes for the “Stars in Their Eyes” mission. You’re near the end of the mission, but it’s not over just yet. After overriding the power nodes, you’ll have to make your way to Zeth’s platform, where you’ll have to fight him.
And that’s how to override the power nodes for Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores. We hope this guide helped you out.
