Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently released the Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores launch trailer showcasing more gameplay and cutscenes.
The latest launch trailer for the upcoming DLC expansion Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores showcases Aloy riding a Sunwing approaching the Burning Shores aka the ruins of Los Angeles. When she does get close, she gets shot down and crash lands on one of the islands.
When Aloy wakes up, she is discovered by a Quen named Seyka, who is going to be a companion in her travels on these islands. Several scenes show Aloy exploring the islands and at one point it shows her riding a Sunwing and diving underwater with it. Does the Sunwing swim now? I guess we will find out when we get our hands on the DLC.
In the last part of the video, Aloy is powering up some sort of new weapon when a new large machine wakes up from slumber. It is quite gigantic, but this is not the first time she has fought giant killer machines.
Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores launches on April 19, 2023 exclusively on PS5 and has a price tag of $20.
