The early Diablo IV Beta is nearly upon us. Prepare yourselves as we embark on yet another dive into Hell itself. This article will tell you everything you need to know about how to download the Diablo IV beta on PS5.
But before we go into detail, let’s go over a few reminders.
There will be Open Beta and Early Access weekends available on PC and consoles.
Players who have pre-purchased Diablo IV will receive Early Access to the Open Beta from March 17 to 19. Over the next weekend, the Open Beta will be available to everyone from March 24 to 26.
How to Download Diablo IV Beta PS5
If you’re accessing the game on PlayStation 4 or 5, all you need to do is launch the PlayStation Store and search for Diablo IV Open Beta in the search bar. Once the beta shows up in the results, open it, and then select Download.
Once you have downloaded the beta and launched the program, you will find yourself on the main screen. Pressing any button will start the login process. At this point, you will be prompted to finalize the binding of your PlayStation account with your Battlenet account. You have the option to either go through the PlayStation web browser or via a cellphone QR code.
Once you’ve verified everything, you should be good to go when the beta starts.
Important: As seen above, once you've connected both accounts, you will not be able to connect to a different Account for PlayStation Network for the next 365 days.
If you see this screen before the launch of the Beta, do not worry. It is only a warning message telling you that the servers are not up yet. The Diablo IV Open Beta will start on March 17, 2023, at 9 AM PST. If there are any changes to the schedule, you can check this article or any of our updates.
One final reminder before ending it here. For the Open Beta weekends, players will get a chance to have an in-depth look into the early game including the Prologue and the entirety of Act 1 with a level cap of 25.
And that’s all there is for this short guide. Looking forward to seeing how the Open Beta goes in a few days’ time. Be sure to check out more of our Diablo IV articles as well.
