One thing we’re all excited for is the Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake making a come back. This beloved minigame lets you fight against the clock for the highest score and reminisce killing zombies with your friends. As such, here’s how to unlock the Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries Mode.

How to unlock Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Mercenaries Mode will be added post-launch of Resident Evil 4 Remake as free DLC. In the original game, you had to beat the campaign at least once on any difficulty to unlock this game mode.

If the requirements haven’t been changed to unlock Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake, then you just have to beat the game once. However, we still have to wait until Capcom releases Mercenaries Mode before we know everything about it at the time of this writing. It may be possible that it’ll be unlocked by default or have another special requirement for unlocking.

How to unlock Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Don’t fret, since you’ll be able to unlock the Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake regardless of the game edition purchased. This will be free DLC for anyone after the Resident Evil 4 Remake launches on March 24, 2023.

What is Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Mercenaries Mode is a minigame where you fight Las Plagas infected to gain points while competing against time. You can play as other characters besides Leon, though we don’t have confirmation yet as to who they will be. We suspect Ada, Hunk, Krauser, and Adam Wesker will at least be on the roster again.

Each character available in Mercenaries mode should have their own equipment and melee moves. HUNK In the original Resident Evil 4, the Mercenaries didn’t have a knife but could snap a Ganados neck, killing them immediately; Krauser could turn his arm into a sharp tendril to drill through enemies on command. Just how unique each character plays in the Mercenaries game mode adds more to making it memorable.

We hope this answers your questions about the Mercenaries Mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
