Game company Koei Tecmo recently shared the sales figures of the titles they have released and one of them is the highly-popular game Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
This was part of their earnings report for the third quarter of FY3/21. A post from ResetEra was the one to translate this since it was a PDF file in Japanese.
It was revealed that for the console and PC full game business, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity had big sales after its release. It is estimated to have over 3.5 million sales worldwide since launch. This makes it the single best-selling Warriors/Musou game in its history.
The original Nioh game had some good sales as well. It gained 2.5 million sales in two years after its release while its sequel, Nioh 2, sold over 1.4 million units since its release. This should climb after the release of the PC and PS5 versions later.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is now available on Nintendo Switch.
