American multinational corporation and technology company Intel recently confirmed that its 11th generation desktop processors are coming next year.
In a recent blog post, Intel VP and GM of Client Group Desktop, Workstations and Gaming John Bonini officially confirmed that the 11th Gen desktop processors code named Rocket Lake will be launching before March 31, 20201. This is just in time for the upcoming announcement coming from AMD, which will also officially reveal the full specifications of the next-generation processor AMD Zen 3.
Bonini shared that this particular desktop CPU will provide support for PCIe 4.0 and suggested it would be a good fit for gaming. He promised that there will be more details announced in the future.
Nothing more was revealed about the upcoming next-generation Intel CPU, but fans of the brand are excited of what it will offer for them. It is expected to be another 14nm chip, but it could have a different CPU Core architecture as well.
