Everyone who has gone to ARCHCon have definitely seen all those amazing gundam models. There’s even a very particularly huge one smack dab in the middle of the area and it’s pretty much hard to miss. But who were the people in charge of handling all of these displays? This is where I was given the opportunity to talk to Albert John Yu, one of the people in charge of handling both the Gunpla displays and the Gundam building competition. I was able to ask him a few questions regarding his thoughts about ARCHCon and how he felt about his company’s participation in it.
So can you tell me a bit about the group/company? What is the main product you’re exhibiting here in ARCHCon ?
Albert: Our company is called Bankee Trading and we’re a major exhibitor for Toys R Us. Our main product is the gunplay or also known as the gundam models and we’re the ones that are handling the gunplay building competition.
What do you think about this year’s ARCHCon?
Albert: This is actually our 2nd time in joining ARCHCon . Those in charge of ARCHCon actually invited us to take part in the event and we enjoyed taking part in last year’s ARCHCon as well. It looks really successful this year and it looks much better than last year’s ARCHCon.
Do you think that this is great exposure for you and the group/company? Will you be participating next year as well?
Albert: Yes it’s really good exposure, and it’s advantageous to us to expose our products to the masses. And yes we’ll still be participating next year if they invite us again haha!
So hopefully those of you who have seen all of their amazing gundams have taken the opportunity to capture them in your mobile phones or cameras, as people don’t often get the chance to see so many of them in one area. And we can all thank John and Bankee Trading for allowing us this pleasure.
