Remember that guy who was awarded to be the first one to be on line for the PlayStation 4 debut? Apparently, he got the new PlayStation 5 in his mail this time.
PlayStation loyal customer and first in line Joey Chiu was also first in line when the PS4 Pro debuted a while back. To celebrate this, game company Sony Interactive Entertainment sent him a PS5 together with a congratulatory plaque that reads like this:
“PS5, Joey Chiu First in Line for PS4, First in Line for PS4 Pro, Patience is a Virtue, This is for You. Play Has No Limits.”
It is not known if he got the next-gen PlayStation console unit for free, but he did get a digital code that has the whole launch lineup for free. That is around $500, so that is a win already.
Congratulations Joey! Hopefully SIE would do the same thing for other regions as well in the near future.
PlayStation 5 will be available on November 12 in the US, Japan, and select few countries. The rest of the world will get it on November 19.
