Jurassic World Evolution 2 Dominion Biosyn Expansion – Review

jurassic world evolution 2 dominion biosyn

Jurassic World Dominion hit the theaters, I’ve watched the film three times and it was great. Not all may agree with what I said, but it was a heartfelt moment seeing my favorite characters meeting the new generation of protagonists. It made me shed a tear. While Dominion may not have been a critically acclaimed flick, it was for sure an enjoyable film much like the expansion of Jurassic World Evolution 2 — Dominion Biosyn.

New dinosaurs and content have been added in the Dominion Biosyn expansion. But the biggest addition is the new Campaign and Chaos Theory levels. The campaign focuses more on how Biosyn built the sanctuary for dinosaurs that was featured in the film. However, nothing much has changed with the direction of the campaign. My biggest gripe with Jurassic World Evolution 2 was its main campaign.

It tried to continue off the story from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and it wasn’t impressive. The main campaign lacked substance. Even with the addition of a Dominion Biosyn mission content, also known as the DFW Campaign, you still do the same process of having the basic structures and accomplishing lackluster objectives.

Chaos Theory is where all the fun begins. The Dominion Biosyn content for Chaos Theory brings a better approach to giving the players a decent challenge. You’ll start off on Owen’s ranch in the woods. There will be challenges like facing poachers that steal the dinos after destroying your fences. This time, unlike the other Chaos Theory missions, it’s more action-packed.

You’ll spend a lot of time on ranger vehicles herding dinos back to keep them away from poachers. And the best part is, you can ram into the poachers to stop them. It was a unique direction from the studio to make ranger vehicles even more engaging than what they usually do in the park situation.

The expansion is great, it’s packed with tons of new content and dinos to breed, and it complements the movie well. If you haven’t watched Jurassic World: Dominion yet, I would highly recommend you to do so as there are tons of spoilers in this expansion.
