Frontier Developments announced the official release date of the upcoming Jurassic World Evolution 2 update 1 and Early Cretaceous Pack.
The Early Cretaceous Pack will be coming to the sequel of the dinosaur park simulator on December 9, 2021 together with the first update for this game. This new paid DLC will add two new land creatures, a new flying reptile and a new marine reptile, both from the Early Cretaceous Era.
A new Species Field Guide video was released as well and it featured the new marine reptile Kronosaurus.
The Kronosaurus can be seen in Hyde Park in London in the game. This creature will come to life over the Serpentine during the evening, after the sunset.
Free Update 1 will be released for free together with the Early Cretaceous Pack. It will introduce more playable maps, more building sets, rock perch points for flying reptiles, and several other quality of life changes and bugs fixes.
Players will be able to see different subtitle colors for each speaker with Update 1. Aside from that, they can see an adjustable autosave frequency option, and they can now pause the game during cutscenes.
The Early Cretaceous Pack and Update 1 will be released on December 9, 2021 at 14:00 GMT/ 6:00 PST. Jurassic World Evolution 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
