In a recent post by game studio Kojima Productions’ official social media account, they have officially confirmed that a recent report from a publication talking about Kojima’s firing from Konami is “categorically false.”
The game studio first disclosed that they do not usually comment on rumors or speculations, but this particular report by Gameblog.fr was an exception. Global Head of Marketing and Communications Jay Boor officially stated that the report that was published this month is categorically false.
When a Twitter user asked which specific parts of the report were false, Boor replied that they are still getting a credible source on record and will elaborate on a later time. They will be focusing more on the launch of Death Stranding for PC this coming July 14.
