Konami Clarifies PT Will Not Be Backwards Compatible with PS5

Game company Konami has recently reached out to a media outlet clarifying a certain theory related to the game demo PT.

Unfortunately, it is sad news. Konami made it clear in an email that GamesRadar received that the popular horror game demo will only stay on the PlayStation 4 and will not be backwards compatible with the PlayStation 5.

Here is their official statement via email:

–the content will not be available on the PS Store, so users won’t be able to re-download the content through the backwards compatibility feature to the PS5.

Well, the dream/nightmarish game demo that has influenced a lot of gamers will now die with the original PS4s that it got downloaded in. There are many alternatives out on PC now anyway, they can just experience it there.

    Thanks GamesRadar!
