A new report has revealed that the new game LEGO 2K Goooal just got rated in South Korea.
LEGO and 2K have been partnering up a lot with various titles and it seems a new one is in the works now. The recent one was the LEGO 2K Drive which launched on May 16, 2023, and is still getting new content to this day. In 2023, however, it seems LEGO and 2K are veering towards a new genre this time, sports.
LEGO 2K Goooal Appears
It was reported that Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee has rated the new LEGO 2K Goooal. It has a rating of ‘all ages’ and it notes that the applicant was Take-Two Interactive. Based on the game’s title, this is going to be a LEGO football game published by 2K Games.
There was a previous report last year that LEGO was partnering with 2K yet again and this time they will be working on a new line of LEGO sports games. This was one of the first titles.
LEGO Partners with 2K
It was revealed that LEGO has signed a new multi-game partnership with 2K and planned to start with this new football game developed by Sumo Digital. Instead, it started with LEGO 2K Drive which was an open-world LEGO racing game developed by Visual Concepts.
No official word yet from LEGO or 2K about this new title, but the announcement could be happening anytime soon.
