Capcom is already romping up its marketing campaign to promote the latest Resident Evil entry, Resident Evil: Village, with life-size standees of the antagonist, Lady Dimitrescu.
Spotted on Capcom Asia’s official Facebook page, a Hong Kong video-game store features a 9’6″ feet standee of the popular Alcina Dimitrescu. As seen in the photo on Facebook, the tall standee covers the entire rack of games. It’s pretty amazing.
We’re hoping to see the life-size standee of Lady Dimitrescu in most stores in South East Asia soon as Resident Evil: Village’s launch date comes closer.
Filipino gamers can expect to see the standee in local retailers, especially inside DataBlitz stores soon knowing they have a long history of partnership in promoting Capcom’s games — if you have been at the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) events, the Capcom booths have always been managed by DataBlitz.
In other news, the upcoming Resident Evil film already has an official title “Welcome to Racoon City”. The film is set to be released in September 2021.
Resident Evil: Village is coming out May 7, 2021, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC via Steam.
