Update: Release date is confirmed. Also, a new trailer was released.

    Original article below:

A new leak has recently revealed the release date of the upcoming video game spin-off Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

SEGA is releasing several Like a Dragon titles in the near future, which are, by the way, going to be named Like a Dragon now instead of Yakuza. These are still the Yakuza series, but they will be called such now and will feature the popular protagonists of the series like Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga. One of those titles, which has a very long title, is probably going to launch later this year as a new leak has now revealed its possible release date.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name Leaked Release Date

A website that scrapes the PS Store for essential details like prices, screenshots, and more called PS Deals has revealed a new page that featured Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. It has been indicated that the official store has it prepared for release any time now. The listing says that the official release date will be November 9, 2023. It also shows new screenshots from the game.

Kiryu Goes into Hiding; Plays Secret Agent

The listing also has a description already, which means this has a high chance to be the final version when it goes official. Kiryu is now in hiding and feigned his death to protect his family. He now uses the codename Joryu as he is thrust again into conflict by a mysterious figure attempting to drive him out of hiding.

    Various Activities to Enjoy

Just like in old times, “Joryu” uses his legendary Yakuza moves on his enemies. He also has the new Agent style which focuses on delivering blows with absolute speed and precision. Cabaret club, racing in the pocket circuit, karaoke, and various nostalgic activities are back again. There is also a new secret Castle Arena.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches on November 9, 2023 on PS4 and PS5. Possibly getting more platforms when this gets announced officially.
