Substory #15: Samurai, May We Walk Together? Walkthrough
Head over to the spot at Aloha Beach near the east wing of the Crystal Aloha Resort where you will find a lady being bothered by some men. Approach them and the two men will engage you in a fight.
After defeating the men, a director and his crewmen approach Kasuga. The director introduces himself as Nathan and praises Kasuga for showing his samurai spirit by defending the lady. Nathan then explains that they have been doing interviews with Japanese tourists as they try to capture their Japanese way of life. He then invites Kasuga for an interview in exchange for a hefty reward.
In the next scenes, you will be placed in different kinds of scenarios where Nathan urges you to show your Japanese culture. There will be options to choose from in each scenario. Choosing the stereotypical Japanese options will make Nathan and his crew happy, plus you will get some personality points for them, while choosing the other options will disappoint the crew and get no personality point rewards.
The options to choose from for each situation to get personality points are as follows:
- Rice and millet: +20 Intellect
- Hat: +20 Kindness
Once you reach the bar, you will be left with no option but to select the shuriken to use for the darts game. After losing the game, Nathan then brings out your penalty where you can choose to either commit seppuku or yubitsume. Kasuga thinks that Nathan is taking it way too far, so Nathan swaps the penalty and drops a metal tub on to Kasuga’s head instead.
As they are heading back to the beach to film the next activity, Nathan meets his former classmate James who is a successful movie director. James then proceeds to mock Nathan for being just a mere TV show director and also mocks him for his love of the Japanese culture. Out of anger, Nathan attempts to punch James, but he gets knocked down instead.
Kasuga steps in to defend Nathan and a fight breaks out; defeat James and the rest of his crew.
After the fight, Nathan thanks Kasuga for defending him. Kasuga also praises Nathan for defending what he loves, but he also advises him to broaden his understanding of the Japanese culture. Nathan then gives x2 Bright Yellow Sweets as a reward for completing the substory. Nathan will also be available as a Poundmate.
