The Lord of the Rings Gollum: Chapter 3 The Breeder Walkthrough

After waking up, make your way to the mustering yard where the other prisoners are. Then follow the other prisoners to ride the gondola. After the ride, follow the orc breeder.

He will teach you about the feeders that are attached to levers. Pull the first lever to make the feeder drop the feed into the water. Then, you will have to go and find the other levers in the area. There are five more feeders in total; you will have to climb to the upper levels to find them.

Once all levers have been pulled, head back to the barracks. The Cruel Orc will be blocking the entrance to the barracks and demands your bread. You can then choose how to react to this encounter and then enter the barracks.

Black Pits – The Candle Man

The Cruel Woman shows up again and wants to take you away, but the Beastmaster wants to keep you. Follow the orc ordered by the Cruel Woman through the tower. Then, climb up the stairs until you reach the door. Climb the wall beside the door and go through the hole to get into the room.

There are a couple of things to interact with in this room like the bell and the bottle on the table that you can take with you. You can then look into the keyhole on the other door to find the Candle Man and the Mouth of Sauron talking.

Continue following the marker to get to where the Candle Man is. A cutscene will play where you and the Candle Man have a conversation. He will then ask who else was behind the bridge explosion. You can then either choose to blame the Mine Orc or tell the truth.

Black Pits – A Bird to Hatch

After a few weeks pass, the Cruel Lady has now taken you in as an asset. You will then be called upon by a soldier to see the Candle Man. Follow the soldier through the tower. Once you meet the Candle Man, he will tell you about breeding carrier birds.

Start by looking at the drawings to know how many logs to put to get the color of bird you want. then take the egg over the Mormak pot. Pour the liquid into the pot and then place the egg in it. Place the egg on the nest. Then, go to the fireplace and put the right amount of logs inside and then use the bellow. Before the next step, climb the cates behind the nest where you first got the egg to find the Feather Collectible.

Go back to the nest and pull on the lever to work on hatching the egg. After a few hours, a chick will hatch on from the egg.

Another cutscene will play where you will speak with the Candle Man. You show him the chick and he tells you if you want to give it a name. You can choose to either not give it one or call it Little One. Return to your cell after the conversation.
