Ubisoft has now released the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope game introduction and team trailers showcasing gameplay footage and more.
After the conclusion of the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope livestream, Ubisoft released these two trailers to share new details about the upcoming game. Now we know that this new galaxy that they have landed on is a mix of Mario Galaxy and Rabbids universes. This galaxy has planets circling around a sun and these celestial spheres are of various types: autumn in color, frozen snow, and sandy beaches.
In the story, players will have to fight against the Cursa, which is a villainous being that wants to suck the energy of this hybrid galaxy and capture the Sparks. The Sparks are little cute creatures that are combinations of Mario Galaxy’s Lumas and the Rabbids. Time for Mario and his Kingdom Battle team to save the day with awesome new members. These members are Rabbid Rosalina, punk Rabbid Edge, and even Bowser.
In this game, the words are more open with new sidequests to complete and secrets to discover with light puzzle-solving. In battles, characters can be controlled in real-time without a grid to see. It is a whole new Mario + Rabbids game.
On the team trailer, it features the game’s combat system where each character has their own unique ability to use like shields, sleep attack, counter-attacks, and more. They can also summon various types of Sparks so they can get bonuses and can level up too.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope launches on October 20, 2022 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
