As the final boss of the game, Cursa is a huge boss that divides herself into 3 phases. Each of her phases uses her body parts that perform devastating attacks and have no physical form. She is ruthless but has no resistance to any type of attack. Regardless, players must take extreme caution upon facing such an adversary.
What players do not know is that Cursa is actually the Megabug, the final boss of the previous Mario and Rabbids game. After it was defeated, it was slowly drifting away into the galaxy feeding off enough energy to restore itself. It possessed Rosalina in order to feed off her astral powers and to restore herself, she needed Mario and the gang to find all the Sparks to free her from the Megabug’s control.
Mario Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Cursa: How To Beat Her?
The final boss battle will require players to make full use of their team members. As such, all heroes will be split into three over three areas. Make sure that each has skills and levels upgraded to the max and their stats improved to face Cursa properly. The line-up for each group should follow this list below:
- Team 1: Mario, Rabbid Rosalina, and Peach
- Team 2: Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Luigi, and Luigi
- Team 3: Browser, Edge, and Rabbid Peach
When the final battle starts, players will need to remember the following points to defeat the Final main boss of the game:
- Be sure to save your game before facing Cursa or else, you won’t be able to return back to this stage after clearing the game
- In facing her first phase, players will need to destroy Cursa’s Astral Arms by activating the giant spikes found in the different parts of the map. To activate the spikes, use a hero jump on the open trampolines. After that, have a hero who is right next to the arms deal extensive damage in order to defeat it.
- The 2nd phase will revolve around again on the arms. Use the same tactic as the 1st but using Luigi’s Steely Stare must be used to decrease Cursa’s health easily before attacking her after the activation of the spike.
- Once the 2nd phase is over and the final phase begins, use again the same strategy but this time use Edge’s Stormblade to deal more damage.
- Make sure to heal your team members constantly.
- When Cursa’s true body appears, Rosalina will appear to assist the team and will ask you to target the Star posts. Doing so will power Rosalina to deal massive damage. Finishing off Cursa will require powering up Rosalina’s gauge three times.
- Be wary of Cursa’s ability to push Heroes back and be prepared to use Team Jumps in order to reach the Star posts faster.
- Make sure to equip these sparks to each hero for they can help in improving offense, defense, and debuffing enemies better:
- Mario -> Pyrostar
- Rabbid Rosalina -> Ethering
- Peach -> Zephystar
- Rabbid Mario -> Electroid
- Rabbid Luigi -> Electrodash
- Luigi-> Vampastra
- Browser -> Glitter
- Edge -> Zephystar
- Rabbid Peach -> Regenesis
- Once all the steps are done, a cutscene will appear having Cursa defeated by your team and you will be rewarded 270 coins, 660 Star Bits, and Cursa Memory. Plus, once the game is cleared, you will be sent back to the title screen to load your game once to clear any missing side quests that players might have missed.
