There are 42 Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Spider-Bots to find in the game. These become accessible following the completion of the Science Buddy main story mission. The biggest problem you’ll run into is the fact that the game doesn’t place a direct marker for Spider-Bots on your in-game map; fortunately, we conveniently did that for you.
In this guide, I have marked the map and listed all the Spider-bots found per district, which you can get in any order.
On this guide:
How to locate Spider-Bots
Unlike the sandstorms the sand crystal produces, Spider-Bots’ signals are not visible until you are around 50 or so meters away. Your hint to their presence is a radiant, multi-colored pulse emitted at intervals of 7 seconds, along with a distinct sound cue. These signals are only noticeable when you’re within range. Navigating New York with can be tricky due to the tall buildings obstructing the visual cues of the pulse.
Often, Spider-Bots have a preference for iconic locations and landmarks, and they’re usually located in high places like walls or ceilings. Remember to look up to find them.

Unfortunately, there are no in-game rewards for collecting all Spider-Bots in Marvel’s Spider-man 2 except for the Funky Wireless Protocols trophy for solving the mystery of the Spider-Bots’ origin.
After collecting all the Spider-Bots, a mysterious portal to another dimension suddenly appears. Emerging from it is a girl, and from the subtitles, I’d learn that she is Delilah. In that particular universe, Delilah seems to play the role of a bartender who occasionally grants favors to individuals. Interestingly, she identified the Spider-Bots as “rogue” and conveyed her awareness of their potential danger, especially how they could negatively impact her business. Without hesitation, she opened a container that unleashed a vortex, promptly sucking in and claiming all the Spider-Bots I had diligently gathered. In an instant, all my efforts vanished without a trace or an explanation.
Delilah, perhaps trying to soothe the blow, remarked that she can always rely on Spider-Man, me in this context, to always do the right thing. Then, she left a cryptic message: If Miguel comes searching for the Spider-Bots, I should tell him “finders keepers.” This suggests a link between the game and the movie.
This leads me to speculate whether she was referencing Miguel O’Hara, another Spider-Man from a different universe. Given the multiverse elements, it prompts the question: is this game’s narrative intertwining with Miguel O’Hara’s storyline from the 2023 film “Across the Spider-Verse”? What do you think? Watch the entire scene at the end of the YouTube video linked above.
