Insomniac Games has recently shared a message to fans to warn them of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 spoilers.
Today, reviewers and influencers have posted on social media that they have gotten early copies of one of the most anticipated titles of this year, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but Insomniac Games is being cautious for fans of encountering spoilers posted online. They took a moment to post on various social media platforms to warn them ahead.
“As we approach launch, Spider-Man 2 spoilers may start to appear online,” Insomniac wrote in the tweet. “We worked hard to craft a story PACKED with surprises, so tread carefully and be mindful of posting spoilers. Let’s Be Greater Together: please keep the adventure fresh for everyone!”
To confirm, the reviews for the game are embargoed until October 16, 2023. Until that time, reviewers and influencers can only share a single image of the game’s initial title screen. Unfortunately, some of those people are already sharing images that are borderline spoilerish. No major story spoilers yet have been posted, but Insomniac wants fans to be prepared.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 officially launches on October 20, 2023 and pre-load starts on October 13, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
