Insomniac Games has recently released the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 State of Play trailer featuring new details on gameplay and more.
The latest Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 State of Play trailer reveals the expanded New York area that Peter Parker and Miles Morales can explore. According to the developers, in this game, the size is nearly double the original version. It has expanded beyond the East River where players can explore iconic landmarks across Queens and Brooklyn. They are complete with story missions, side quests, and city activities to enjoy.
The expansion of New York also means that there are better faster traversal options now like Web Wings, which allows players to glide to a destination.
Peter Parker and Miles Morales can near-instantly switch between them thanks to the power of the PS5. Each will have their own side stories to uncover.
Kraven the Hunter and Venom have now joined hands to antagonize the enemies. There are other villains to fight though but it is their job to protect their city and the ones living in them.
In this sequel, the developers have layered on a new set of abilities and skills for the two heroes, which are Pete’s new Symbiote powers and Spider-Arms. Miles has electrifying and thunderous quality to his bioelectric venom power with evolved venom abilities.
There are 65 suits to unlock, which includes new original designs and fan favorites from ends and comics. This larger gallery of costumes offered fans different ways to improve their looks.
The Digital Deluxe Edition features 10 exclusive suits, additional Pro Items, and 2 skill points. To bring these 10 suits to life, Insomniac partnered with several artists across comics, games, and films.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
