Reikon Games, the studio behind the acclaimed action title RUINER, has unveiled their new project, METAL EDEN, a fast-paced first-person shooter set in a sci-fi world. The game was officially announced during Sony’s latest State of Play broadcast.

Published by Deep Silver, METAL EDEN is slated to launch on May 6, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A high-octane reveal trailer showcasing the game’s intense cybernetic combat and stunning visuals was released alongside the announcement.

    Dive into a Cybernetic World

METAL EDEN plunges players into a universe where human consciousness has evolved beyond physical bodies, now existing within advanced robots. The game features eight distinct missions within a meticulously crafted universe that explores the cybernetic dimension of existence. Players will be immersed in an artificial world, engaging in intense cybernetic warfare as they control powerful Hyper Units and unravel the enigmas of a lost paradise.

Harness the Core, Control the Battle

Players will assume the role of ASKA, a cutting-edge Hyper Unit android powered by a digitized human psyche. Set on the techno-planet Moebius and the mysterious world beneath, ASKA is caught in a conflict for the “COREs,” cybernetic repositories holding the souls of a lost human colony.

Nexus, ASKA’s sentient spaceship companion, will aid players in expanding their arsenal and upgrading their resilient form as they fight to uncover the truth within this captivating yet eerie machine world. Players will confront a diverse array of enemies, extracting energy cores to gain tactical advantages in combat. Developing their weaponry and combat skills will be crucial to becoming an unstoppable Hyper Unit.

Enhanced parkour mechanics allow players to dash, grapple, and wall-run through the city’s defenses. Utilize superior agility and acrobatic combat skills to dominate fast-paced encounters and unleash devastation upon any opposition.

METAL EDEN is expected to launch on May 6, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
