Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Also Includes Classic Titles

Konami has recently confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will include two more classic titles aside from the ones announced during the recent showcase.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was recently revealed by Konami during the PlayStation Showcase and at the end of it was another reveal: Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. This collection included Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which are all HD Collection versions. It would launch in autumn 2023.

On the official website of Konami, the collection image included a blank space and text that said “stay tuned for more information”. The PlayStation Store revealed what was included in the blank space: the classics: Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Aside from the reveal of the classic titles, it is also clear that this master collection is still volume 1. That means a volume 2 will be coming later. The next volume could include another trilogy, probably Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 launches in autumn 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
