Konami has officially confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Inclusions
The new Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 consists of the popular titles of the whole series which are:
- Metal Gear
- Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
- Metal Gear Solid
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
The game was first scheduled to launch for a fall release, but now a definite date has been announced. It will now be available on October 24, 2023. It will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch, which was not announced initially.
NES Games Included
It was also announced that the NES games Metal Gear and Snake’s Revenge will be included in the collection, but it is still not clear if it will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch or it will be available to all platforms.
Awesome Bonuses to Collect
Volume 1 will also include the Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2 digital graphics novels for fans who want to read the whole story of these two titles in graphic novel form.
Other bonuses include the screenplay books, mater books with story and character information, strategy guides for each game, and the digital soundtrack. All bonuses will highly be appreciated by fans of the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
The Nintendo Switch version is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo e-Shop and can be purchased separately if they wanted.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 launches on October 24, 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
