    Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain New Update Includes Access To Quiet

    Game publisher Konami recently announced a new update for stealth-action video game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This allows players to play a certain female character.

    Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain update details

    The game’s online competitive multiplayer mode, FOB missions, got a new update. This allowed a certain female character from the main game to be playable in this mode, which was Quiet. She is a tactical, sharp-shooting companion and the primary female protagonist who supports Snake in both infiltration and combat.

    Quiet abilities

    Quiet is a very stealthy sniper that has lightning-fast movement speed, cloaking while staying still, and removing instability issue of sniping by her innate ability to breathe through her skin. She can be a very proficient fighter in the battlefield.

    Development items added

    Aside from the other additions, Konami added some new development items to aid players with their missions. These are all Online Development items, which mean that it will develop even after they turn off the game system or PC. They can also use earned MB coins to shorten the development time.

    Renov-Ickx bis Sniper Rifle – Sniper rifle that fires rounds that penetrate obstacles. Boasts extremely long effective range and exceedingly high stopping power and penetration. * Only usable in FOB Missions

    Dark Matter Generator – Emits a massive ball of dark matter that blocks light. Ball inflicts damage on any enemy that comes into contact with it. * Only usable in FOB Missions

    Stun Dark Matter Generator – Emits a massive ball of stun dark matter that blocks light and has a stun effect. Ball knocks out any enemy that comes into contact with it. * Only usable in FOB Missions

    Energy Wall – Generates a protective shield that temporarily nullifies shots, stun effects, sleep, and markings. Shield will dissipate if it takes a certain amount of damage. * Only usable in FOB Missions

    Players who try the Event FOB [HARD] difficulty will earn more event points. In Event FOB missions, nobody is in danger of retaliation from an opponent or another player. They can steal materials and abduct staff without any problems of revenge.

    The game is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
