Microsoft has recently announced that it has now signed a new 10-year deal with another Cloud service.
Even after the announcement of the UK Regulator blocking Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the company has said that this is far from over. It seems that statement holds true as it has now struck another deal and this time with a cloud gaming platform.
Microsoft has now struck a 10-year agreement to stream Xbox PC games and Activision Blizzard titles if the acquisition would be successful, with the Spanish cloud gaming platform Nware.
Microsoft President Brad Smith said, “While it’s still early for the emerging cloud segment in gaming, this new partnership combined with our other recent commitments will make more popular games available on more cloud game streaming services than they are today.”
Xbox Boss Phil Spencer added, “We are full speed ahead in our mission to bring players more ways to play their favorite games.”
This is now the sixth partnership the company has struck with other companies. The other companies are Nintendo, Nvidia, Boosteroid, Ubitus, and EE. These were the agreements designed to help push through Microsoft’s $69 million acquisition with Activision Blizzard.
